Lake Richmond is a 40 hectare perennial freshwater lake, measuring 1000m by 600m.
Lake Richmond is home to endangered thrombolites, which can be seen around the edges of the lake. Follow the numbered
posts to observe native plants, frogs and over 100 species of birds - waterbirds, small "bush"
birds, seabirds, waders and some birds of prey.
Be careful! Tiger snakes live around the edges of the lake, so make sure you keep on the
boardwalk! The lake is deep and is not suitable for fishing or swimming.
