Awaydays Pet Minding was established in August 2005. The concept was to provide an alternative boarding service for pet owners. It is known pets miss the contact, affection, freedom and daily routine they are used to.

Awaydays Pet Minding is a unique service where loving carers will welcome your pet(s) into their home as part of their family, during your time away. We have found by placing your pet with a carer, they are quite happy and settled while their owner is away.

Safety and wellbeing are our top priorities and every effort is made to ensure your pet will be as comfortable as it is at home.

What We Do

When you choose to use our service, we will arrange to meet you and your pet(s) first to ascertain what their likes and dislikes are and what their usual routine is. We complete an extensive profile of your pets the first time you use our service, which includes your vet details.

Awaydays Pet Minding will then match your pet(s) requirements to a suitable carer. A meeting is arranged to have a cup of tea between the pet owner and carer, where the pet owner can see where their pets will be staying while they are away.

At the time of staying with the carer the pet owners supply their pets' food, so there is no sudden change in diet to upset them. We recommend that your pets' bedding and personal items accompany them so they have familiar items with them.

Rates:	Nightly rate for 1 dog to stay with a carer (Minimum of 2 nights stay) $20.00 Weekly rate $136.50 Home visit to feed, walk, (empty litter tray for cats) put out bins alternate lights etc $20.00 Dog walking     $15.00
