RELAX & ENJOY

No... you have not stepped into an ancient European building, but into Manuels creative & skillful use of local stone, old recycled heavy beams, timbers, and other materials converted into interesting chunky furniture and structures, acheiving an individual, inspiring atmosphere.

We have a cosy fire for not so warm days and a real expresso coffee machine. Outside, relax in our romantic flower filled patios and soak up the sun with the sound of a fountain.

Browse through our bookcase for local and Australian information, that perfect book, card games, jigsaws or a DVD.

Enjoy your meals or just relax in our unique style dining room, bar lounge area overlooking the sea.


THE BEDROOMS

The bedrooms are large and comfortable with rustic character - ceiling beams, and hand crafted furniture made by Manuel out of solid slabs of local timber. Beautiful Western Australian photographs & local artworks adorn the walls - all framed by Manuel out of recycled timber. Terra Cotta flooring interspersed with individually hand made colourful tiles give the bedrooms a unique charm.

All rooms have ensuites, some with spas, well ventilated, with comfy queen size beds, fridges, tea and coffee making facilities, TV's, DVD's, clock radios, glasses and bottle openers, hairdryers in bathrooms.

We have three bedrooms for you to choose from.

PELICAN

1st floor, a beautiful room facing east and north, full of morning sun. A fantastic balcony with double doors opening out - beautiful north west views across the bay to Seal island and north along stunning Shoalwater Bay. There is a large umbrella for shade, & breakfast and dinner can be served on your own private balcony!

SEAL

SPA BATH. Our biggest room. (Space for a camp bed) Facing south and east so it is full morning sun. This room has a relaxing spa in the bathroom and a lovely airy feel.

STARFISH

A DISABLED Bedroom ( of course others can use this room). Ground floor, facing east so it is full of morning sun and afternoon shade. This bedroom has a lovely large disabled bathroom with shower and fold down shower seat. It has its own flower filled courtyard with a fountain softly playing, table, chairs and umbrella - your breakfast and evening meal can be served here. Disabled access to the groundfloor cafe area is also available.


BREAKFAST

• Delicious breakfasts, with freshly squeezed orange juices, freshly made fruits salads, pancakes and cereals
• Eggs, bacon, mushrooms and tomatoes
• Croissants filled with cheese and ham
• Home made jams and marmalade
• Our freshly made coffee, home made biscuits
• Packed lunches and other meals are also possible
• All our eggs are free range and our water is filtered

Breakfast can be served on your balcony, in one of the pretty patios or in our cafe area overlooking Shoalwater Bay.



ABOUT ALI & MANUEL

Ali was born in southern England, and lived in Spain before coming to W.A. She loves Cooking, the enviroment, the peace & quiet of Shoalwater Bay, swimming and walking on Shoalwater beach. Sketching & art, reading, crosswords, alternative healing, music, gardening, dancing & people.

Manuel born in Casablanca, Morocco of Spanish parents. He met Ali in Southern Spain. Most of the unusual construction and furnishings around Manuel Towers was designed & made by him. He speaks English, French & Spanish fluently, and can get by in Italian, Portugese & German. He loves talking, music, socializing, & visiting unusual places.



ACTIVITIES

Well, the best way to start the day is a walk along our beach and a swim in the safe peaceful bay.

• Kayaking to Seal and Penguin Islands
• Snorkeling
• Organized Scuba diving
• Petanque in the park overlooking the bay. (Please ask for boule set)
• Visit Naragebup, our local Environment Centre (10 minute stroll)
• Lake Richmond with it's unique thrombolites
• Ferry tours to Penguin and Seal Islands - see the cute fairy penguins
• Swim with the dolphins (information available)
• There are also winereies, golf courses and horse riding nearby
• End the day sipping a cool drink and watching the amazing sunsets

• From Perth Domestic Air Terminal turn LEFT into GREAT EASTERN HIGHWAY
  and next LEFT into TONKIN HIGHWAY
• From Perth International Airport you turn LEFT into TONKIN HIGHWAY
  
  
• Now both continue down TONKIN till you see ROE HIGHWAY
  
  
• Get off here and turn RIGHT over the flyover continue down ROE Highway till you reach the KWINANA FREEWAY
• Turn LEFT here and continue on till you see THOMAS ROAD Exit turn RIGHT here
• Continue down till you get to the T junction and turn LEFT at ROCKINGHAM RD
  (This road will change to PATTERSON RD)
• Keep on going till you reach the lights at KENT ST and PARKIN ST
• Go LEFT down PARKIN ST to the end and turn LEFT into SAFETY BAY RD
• Second right into BOUNDARY RD which will lead you to Shoalwater Bay
• LEFT into ARCADIA DRIVE. We are just down here on the LEFT.
• From Perth get onto the KWINANA FREEWAY, pick up directions from above.
• From Fremantle pick up ROCKINGHAM RD from HAMPTON RD
